The Iron bell has been spun from durable 99.1% pure iron and the griddle baking plate made from heavy duty 1/4 inch (6mm) thick black iron making it superb for even baking and high temperatures with no warping of buckling of the plate.
Perfect for baking the perfect golden loaf, the bell retains the steam and improves the crust. Ideal for all breads especially sour dough.
When used in the oven it helps stabilise even oven temperatures.
Safe for very hot ovens up to at least 300ºC (572ºF)
Can be used on hobs, range stoves, electric, gas and wood fired ovens.
Pre-seasoned with flax oil for a natural non-stick finish
